- Sweet Briar College
Sweet Briar is a small private, women's liberal arts and sciences college, founded in 1901. It is situated on over 3200 beautiful acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, about 50 miles south of Charlottesville, VA. 90% of their classes have less than 20 students. I am the Harp Teacher here, and this is where I teach many of my private students (those who live nearer the Lynchburg area). Our harp ensemble, Harp Song of the Blue Ridge, practices and performs here.
