This clip features three pieces played by the Harp Song of the Blue Ridge Trio. Over $3,000 was raised that evening for charity.             <description><![CDATA[<p><em><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: times,serif;">Congratulations to Hope on receiving the Optimist Club award for "Excellence in Musical Accomplishments" for her Middle School.</span></span></em></p><br /><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: times,serif;">Hope's musical interests and talents seem boundless. She is a member of our harp ensemble, "Harp Song of the Blue Ridge," performing this year at the hugely successful fundraiser, "Harps of Gold Concert." Virginia Schweninger, director of Harpsong, well known throughout the area for her many accomplishments, and her harpist students presented a varied and beautiful program of Christmas music. She was accompanied by Nancy VanZant, also a harpist student, and organist and handbell soloist at Fort Hill. What a wonderful way to spend an otherwise dreary afternoon.
